From a single panel respray after a dent repair to a complete vehicle repaint, every job at Englewood Auto Body goes through the same process: computerized color matching, professional surface preparation, climate-controlled spray booth application, and a lifetime warranty on the result.
Auto painting looks simple but is technically demanding. The quality of a paint job is determined by surface preparation, the accuracy of color matching, the conditions during application, the materials used, and the skill of the technician. A paint job applied over poorly prepared surfaces, mixed to an approximate color, sprayed in a dusty uncontrolled environment, or rushed through curing will look wrong within months. We do not take any of those shortcuts.
Every paint job begins with thorough surface preparation. The repair area and surrounding panels are cleaned, sanded, and primed as needed. Any filler work is block-sanded to a uniform surface. Masking protects adjacent panels and trim. This preparation stage is what determines whether paint adheres correctly and whether the final surface is smooth and uniform.
We apply all paint in a dedicated climate-controlled spray booth. Temperature and humidity are regulated throughout the application and curing process. The booth uses filtered air to eliminate dust and debris. These conditions are what separate professional automotive paint from anything applied in open air - the result is a smooth, consistent, factory-quality finish.
Getting color right requires technology, not guesswork. We use a spectrophotometer to measure your vehicle's existing paint and generate a mixing formula that accounts for the actual color on your vehicle - including natural fade from years of UV exposure. The paint we apply blends with your vehicle, not just with what the factory specification says the color should be.
Every paint job performed at Englewood Auto Body carries a lifetime warranty for as long as you own the vehicle. If any paint we apply peels, blisters, cracks, or fades abnormally, we correct it at no cost to you. No time limit. No mileage limit. No qualifications.

Everything you need to know before you bring your vehicle in.
In most cases only the damaged panel needs to be repainted and blended. Blending involves feathering the new paint into the adjacent panels so there is no visible boundary. A full repaint is only necessary when damage is widespread or when existing paint has deteriorated to a point where blending is not achievable. We tell you honestly which applies to your situation.
Remove any personal items from the interior and exterior of the vehicle. If you have aftermarket accessories near the repair area such as spoilers, trim pieces, or decals, let us know at the estimate. We handle all masking and preparation in-house. There is nothing specific you need to do to the vehicle surface before bringing it in.
Single-stage paint combines color and gloss in one layer. It was common on older vehicles but is rarely used today. Two-stage paint - which is the standard on modern vehicles - uses a separate color coat and a clear coat applied over it. The clear coat provides UV protection and the high-gloss finish. We work with two-stage paint systems on all modern vehicles.
A single panel paint job adds one to two days to the repair timeline for prep, application, and curing. Multi-panel jobs take longer proportionally. We do not rush the curing process - doing so creates adhesion and durability problems. Your vehicle is ready when the paint has cured properly, not when the clock says it should be done.
Yes. Painted plastic panels including bumpers, mirror housings, and spoilers are painted using flexible primer and flex additive in the paint to prevent cracking on flexible surfaces. The process and color matching is identical to metal panels. We do not treat plastic panels as second-class - they receive the same preparation and quality of finish.
Yes. All paint work at Englewood Auto Body carries our lifetime paint warranty, valid for as long as you own the vehicle. We use professional-grade automotive paint systems - not the materials available at retail stores. The combination of proper materials, proper application, and proper curing is what makes a paint job last, and all three are covered by our warranty.
